Rocky's love for music began when his Dad bought him is first drum set at 8yrs old. Rocky later joined the army and received at grant to go to The Granoff School of Music in Philadelphia, PA for 2yrs. His Major was drums and Piano for music theory. Rocky then moved to South Carolina in 1999 and started playing locally in Little River, SC. Michael Stallings, Charlie Snuggs, and Terry Rochester are a few of the awesome musicians he was honored to perform with. Rocky joined Tammy's Tangent a few yrs ago and the rest is history! Rocky is ready to rock the Grand Strand!

Tammy fronts the group with a dynamic vocal style. She has performed with many local groups such as the Channel Cats, Certified Blues, and The Sharks. She has the unique ability to take each song and make it her own; and is so versatile that she is comfortable switching between rock, pop, country and blues without missing a beat.
She was born and raised in Little River, SC and has been singing for over 30 years. She started out in church and school talent shows, and went on to be an alternate for Opryland USA when she was 17 years old. She has opened for such acts as Delbert McClinton at the House of Blues and Ronnie McDowell at the convention center in MB. Tammy has also sang on many local TV & Radio commercials.

Dan has been involved with music for more than 50 years, working with various bands since 1967. He grew up with a musical family and began guitar at the age of ten, learning a few basic chords from his father, on an old Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar. He learned to play the harmonica and banjo as well, singing & performing with his family playing folk music at county fairs and other local venues, and had the honor of meeting and performing for Sargent and Eunice Shriver at their estate in Maryland. A couple of years later, Rock & Roll came calling, and he formed his first band at the age of fourteen, playing at high school and CYO dances, parties, the NCO Club at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, the Army Map Service, and has been playing guitar ever since. While he attended college in the early 70's, he also played full time in various night clubs in the MD-Washington DC-VA metro area, as well as for dances and private parties. He later traveled with a disco/top 40 show band for a few years, performing in ten states along the East Coast, as well as in Canada, He eventually settled in Myrtle Beach and began working out on the keyboards, shortly after his fathers passing in 2002; however, the guitar is still his number one passion, and he has been performing in the Grand Strand area since 1997. His playing style consists of Classic Rock, Blues, Beach Music, Jazz, and Country. His musical Influences include, but are not limited to, many genres: The Animals, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, (pretty much most of the music of the 60's and 70's), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, The Eagles, George Benson.
